Bavarian Schnitzel

Ingredients

1 lb (500 g) Canadian Pork Leg Inside,

Scallopini or Schnitzel

1 egg

1 tbsp (15 ml) water

2 cups (500 ml) bread crumbs

1 tsp (5 ml) dried thyme, crumbled

1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt

1/4 tsp (1 ml) pepper

1/4 cup (50 ml) all purpose flour

2 tbsp (25 ml) EACH canola oil, butter

Ingredients

2 racks Canadian Pork Back Ribs

3 cups (750 ml) hot water

1/2 cup (125 ml) hoisin sauce

1/4 cup (50 ml) soy sauce

3 tbsp (45 ml) Dijon mustard

1 medium onion, minced

6 Canadian Pork Loin Centre Chops, 3/4″/2 cm thick

1 tsp (5 ml) canola oil

½ tsp (2 ml) pepper

When it was my turn to host a extended family function over the holidays, pork of course was on the menu. Rave reviews on the roasted pork loin. Recipe is from a friend of mine.

Apple Cinnamon Pork

Ingredients

3 lb Pork Loin Roast

1 Apple

Cinnamon

Honey

 

Directions

Cut slits into the pork loin roast. Insert slices of apple in side the slits. Place roast in slow cooker. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook on low in slow cooker for @ 4-5 hours. Remove from slow cooker and let meat rest for 5 minutes. Slice on
